I’ve been using Elave products for nearly 20years, mainly the cleanser, sunscreen & moisturiser for my eczema/dermatitis. So I was delighted when they came out with this shaving kit as I usually shave once a week as I’m not a fan of having stubble/beard. The problem I have is, when I shave I always get red irritation (razor burn) which tends to last for a couple of days afterwards. I’ve been using the kit for a few months now & it’s not only been great for my skin but also my self confidence. You only need to use a small bit of the shaving foam as it foams up a lot, so it lasts for ages. The aftershave balm has this immediate cooling effect along with a lovely aloe Vera scent. I’ve tried loads of shaving kits over the years, this is by far the best. Compared to other sensitive skin shaving kits I’ve used, it’s night & day. I love the little shaving brush they include in the kit & the addition of ordering the kit unboxed so they can plant a tree is a wonderful idea.

I bought the shaving essentials kit a couple of months ago & after trying it several times I thought I’d leave a review as I was so impressed with it. I usually like to shave once a week but after a clean shave I break out in a red rash & my skin becomes dry (I have eczema & dermatitis) so I’d usually put off shaving because of this as it makes me self conscious as the rash can last a couple of days. But since I started using the shave essentials kit I can now shave as often as I want (I’m not a big fan of having a beard) & without any irritation, plus the smell of the shaving foam & especially the shaving balm has a lovely fresh minty smell along with a cooling effect on my freshly shave face. Also like most of their products it seems to last for ages.

WOW. I received this pack as a gift and all I can say is Wow.
I have experienced irritated and red skin since I started shaving about 15 years ago. No matter what products or brands or razors I used the result was always irritation and a red rash on my face. I even stopped shaving for a while and resumed with an electric razor hoping that would help.
Anyway my godchild Caoimhe bought this for me and I still cant quite believe the diference it has made to me. The pack contains a nice wooden shave brush which is useful to to massage the shave gel onto my face. Once I have shaven I apply the shave balm which is really cooling on my skin and helps protect my face from the elements when I am cycling to work. My skin has never looker or felt better.
