Irish pharmacists have voted Elave Daily Skin Defence SPF45 the Best Skincare Product for the second year in a row.
The judging panel for the OTC & Product Retail Awards 2023 comprised Ireland’s leading pharmacy professionals from multiple and independent pharmacies.
Elave Daily Skin Defence SPF45 is a unique combined moisturiser and sunscreen which hydrates and protects skin against environmental damage while delivering high UVA and UVB protection.
The invisible zinc, non-greasy formulation is enriched with antioxidant vitamins B5, C & E and can be used under, or without, makeup. It is particularly kind to sensitive Irish skin and is recommended for all skin types. It is 100% cruelty-free and vegan.
Retailing at €22.95 (50mls) Elave Daily Skin Defence SPF45 is available online from elaveskincare.com or Boots, Tesco, Dunnes Beauty, Superdrug, Chemist Warehouse and independent community pharmacies.
What the judges said:
‘Offers an excellent level of both sun protection and moisturisation. Its broad appeal and applicability to those with both normal and sensitive skin, along with its suitability from newborn, makes it a very versatile product.’
‘It is free from harmful chemicals, such as parabens, sulfates, and fragrances, and effectively hydrates and nourishes the skin while providing protection from UV rays and environmental stressors. Overall, a highly recommended product that meets the needs of those looking for a gentle, effective, and affordable skin care solution.’
‘Great well-known Irish skincare brand. Excellent loyalty with sensitive skincare customers in pharmacy. Brilliant to have this combination with SPF 45.’
The OTC Awards are promoted by Irish Pharmacy News. Elave Skincare also won Best Baby Skincare Product for the 2nd year for Elave Sensitive Baby Bath.
